Ferrari LaFerrari
The LaFerrari isn’t just stupendously good looking & insanely functional (at the same time) but can cover the ground like a rocket ship on steroids. How about 0-124 mph in less than 7 seconds & 0-186 mph in 15 seconds. So yeah perfect for a fast run to the shops & for lapping Ferrari’s Fiorano Test Circuit in 1 minute 19.7 seconds!
All views of the LaFerrari from whatever angle they are viewed pay homage to Ferrari’s history & breeding.
The Ferrari La Ferrari owner is treated to wicked views of the rear haunches of his or her car.
At 78.4 inches wide it will easily fit in my garage!
The Ferrari 458 Speciale (on the RH side of the photo) is a magnificent car however it wouldn’t be in my list of favourite Ferrari’s.
A large rear diffuser with active aerodynamics.
The Ferrari Badge proudly on display for Ferrari’s most recent Hypercar.
The Red & Black contrasts perfectly at the rear of the LaFerrari.
The exhaust pipe layout echoes the Ferrari F50 layout another favourite Ferrari of mine.
An asymmetrical Pirelli 345/30 ZR 20 rear tyre – an awesome specification selected for the Ferrari LaFerrari! One of my cars that I have owned, the Subaru 22B also had a similar asymmetric tyre albeit just 235/40 ZR 17 in size – this car had quite stunning road grip almost limp-it like, resulting in a phenomenal level of road grip from all 4 tyres working together with the rally focused 4 wheel drive. Asymmetrical tyres can only be changed on one side only (front to rear). With the LaFerrari none of the tyres can be interchanged! I never needed to change my tyres on the 22B as the car was purchased from new. At first I thought the handling was uninspiring & a little bit bland but once the tyres were scrubbed in the tyre performance was out of this world. More about this exceptional sports road rally car in future blogs.
